Arrocco is a variety of superior bread-making quality soft wheat. It is characterized by its excellent productivity and field performances, its sure yield and superior quality.
Being an alternative variety, the seeding period is very ample (seeding can be postponed).
Arrocco is also distinguishable by its adaptability to all types of soil and its good resistance to lodging, mildew and brown rust.
Nitrogen fertilizer is important, even in barrel, in order to enhance the quality of this variety.
The ear of this variety is white, with parallel edges. The plant is semi – erect.
Arrocco was introduced in Italy in 2010 and had the opportunity to enter the Bologna market.
