TECHNOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION SOFT BREAD-MAKING QUALITY

PR22R58 is a variety of bread-making quality soft wheat; it is characterized by its resistance to the main fungal and viral pathologies (including mosaic virus). It has tillering properties.

It is a precocious variety and the best time of sowing is from 15 October to 15 November.

The awned ear is medium-sized and medium high; the plant, medium in size, has a semi-erect carriage.

In order to obtain a high yield and to ensure the quality of the production, an adequate nitrogen fertilization and an adequate plant protection are required, especially in the earing stage.

The variety well tolerates the use of herbicides containing Chlortoluron.
